We are receiving an increased level of client enquiry and commitment to the engagement of some form of independent observation or clerk of works type duties. This is generally in addition to the NZIA construction observation role and the IPENZ construction monitoring role.
Clients are seeking an independent party to observe, verify and report on the contractor’s delivery on site of the contracted documentation. This is not dissimilar to the role of the Registered Clerk of Works whose institute has now been disbanded.
Commissions are tailored to suit the level of service required by clients and to suit the project. We deliver these services with one of our building surveyors or building consultants who have the support and back up of staff with other disciplines and capabilities.
